The technical team behind AR-Experts discovered augmented reality and did pioneering work. They developed their own prototype AR glasses and tracking algorithms in collaboration with the University of Paderborn and Airbus.
Pioneering industrial projects were realized together with the leading AR R&D department at the Technical University of Munich. These included the large-scale evaluation of Pick-by-Vision with over 100 users together with Volkswagen and FML.
In the days before AR/VR glasses, we invented precise industrial augmented reality laser projection. Many leading automotive manufacturers adapted their processes to this technology.
AR-Experts was founded with a focus on developing sustainable, user-centered AR solutions. We worked with a third of the leading German production companies. GIRI was also born during this time.
In 2022, we realized that our philosophy of providing the fastest solution for creating work instructions does not work with glasses. So we consistently switched to smartphones and GIRI began to spread worldwide.
